Daylight Saving Time Rules 2007 – United States and CanadaDate Released: 01/29/2007
As you may already be aware, beginning in 2007, the United States and Canada have enacted new rules for Daylight Saving Time. The United States and Canada will extend Daylight Saving Time by three weeks in the Spring and one week in the Fall. Daylight Saving Time will begin the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November. Previously, Daylight Saving Time began the first Sunday in April and ended the last Sunday in October.
NTE has taken steps to ensure that all of our systems adhere to the new Daylight Saving Time rules. We also wanted to take this opportunity to inform you of these changes so that both your systems and operational employees will use these new rules. It will be especially important to have everyone in your supply chain follow these new rules during the additional weeks of Daylight Savings that will be outside of the historical Daylight Saving Time, so that your pickups and deliveries continue to arrive in a timely manner.
