Product Release: NTE Suite™ Version 6.3Date Released: 11/27/2006
As part of our continuing efforts to improve on the outstanding quality you have come to expect from NTE, we will be upgrading our production application environment to provide the latest software enhancements for all NTE customers and products. Please be aware that our systems including NTE TradeTM, NTE ViewTM and NTE Rapid RaterTM will be temporarily unavailable on Saturday December 2nd from 10:00 p.m. CST to Monday, December 4th 3:00 a.m. CST. The timing of this upgrade should not affect your business processes.
This release includes the following enhancements:
This FBAP release greatly reduces data entry into the accounting system thus reducing human errors.
Significant internal code improvements to lay ground work for future customer enhancements.
NTE Rate CentralTM - allows you to manage your own rates.
See all (current, historical and future) rate values.
Active Window - Customers can control their shippers and carriers active status in their community.
Manage Alerts - Send email alerts to multiple email addresses.
EDI Events - Access EDI events anytime in a shipments life cycle.
Company Contact - Additional contact information fields have been added.
Shipment Rate Change Notification - Automatic messages can be sent when a booked shipments rate has been changed.
Delayed Messaging - Shipment messages can be delayed for a period of time to consolidate duplicate communications.
Authorizing User - The users name who authorized a shipment cancellation or booking override has been added to all the excel extract reports.
Customer Signup Role - Allows the customer to define a different role to be used when a new shipper signs up within their community other than the default.
